Lymph Node Transplant
Lymph node transplant involves transplanting healthy lymph nodes from an unaffected region of the body (donor site) to an affected area (recipient site) as a vascularized flap.  The goal is to create new pathways for lymphatic fluid to drain from the affected limb.  This procedure is performed as a treatment modality in patients with established lymphedema.
